So I just watched Youtube rewind 2017, and it was awful
I'm gonna make a series of SFM posters and the like
To make a Gaming rewind 2017
From Jungle Inferno and other updates (year 2 of siege), to Reddit vs EA, to Assassins creed origins (and other new releases. and just because it is made by one of the great indies I will include fnaf 6), PUBG and Fortnite refacing the genre, Artifact's reveal, cuphead, the nintendo switch, Lawbreakers (funeral), and lastly the 4K console Titans.
it's gonna be a lot of work, but 2017 was a hectic year.

My Roadmap and apologies.
I tend to be behind on this stuff. so here's what I plan to do.
Gaming News comes out so often that I can't really keep up with what I want to write.
So my next posts will be (in this order)
Jungle Inferno (Day 2,3,4, and aftermath)
Operation White Noise
Paladins (in light of OB64)
Then I hope to group The Crew, The Division, and Ghost Recon Wildlands in a short period of time over new years.
from then on I might look at Five Nights at Freddy's 6..... (Just kidding, I took an oath)
Please Submit ideas to me at my youtube channel or Discord
which can be found here

Jungle Inferno: this is the real TF3.0 (part 1)
WELCOME TO MERCENARY PARK
Anyone remember this guy? Well, he finally gets the new weapons he wants in the newest update, JUNGLE INFERNO
I'm gonna go over the content in this and give my opinion (since it's been out for a couple weeks).
So after a year (~474 days) of silence, we get the major pyro/jungle update we were promised.
AND BOI IS IT BIG. For 16 people on a dev team we got more bang for our (hypothetical) buck than we could have imagined. I literally stopped playing Overwatch for the past week, even while the Halloween terror event was going. Overwatch just became much less content filled. Plus we got our beloved VALVe team behavior that we haven't seen in years with daily bug patches.
DAY ONE:
We got the SFM short JUNGLE INFERNO.
watch it here
and we got 6 I repeat SIX new maps
2 for King of the Hill
2 for Attack/Defend (one was VALVE MADE)
1 for Payload Race
And 1 for Payload
They are Mercenary Park, Lazarus, Mossrock, Enclosure, Banana Bay, and Brazil.
My Opinion on the content released this day
YETI PUNCH!!!!
(675/1000) Some maps are a bit annoying balance wise.

Lawbreakers: great game, scummy competition. Free Weekend this week.
Welcome to the BEGINNING OF YOUR END
Lawbreakers hearkens back to the good old quake and unreal tournament days. Where aim at high velocities (or rocket launchers) mattered, not a silly team composition or ultimate abilities. Your skill determined your survivability.
This game was headed by a mastermind in the shooter genre. You might have heard of him. Cliff Bleszinski headed Gears of War and Unreal Tournament. He was with the group Epic Games (The makers of Fortnite and Unreal engine 4).
The game has 9 Roles(classes, champions, whatever) That each have their own skillsets. Each team has these roles, but different characters (so there are no actual clone face-offs)
5v5 focused. Fast-paced CoD style and Black Ops 3 look.
Abilities of mass destruction (or mobility)
AND ZERO GRAVITY SECTIONS IN EACH MAP
This game has a twitch partnership and a Deadzo Deluxe Edition.
There's plenty of customization for everyone with weapon skins (and an inspect weapon key!) Character skins, Stickers for your weapon, boot decals (if you kick someone in the face and kill them they get the boot plastered on their screen.
While this game loves taking in on the popular 4-item lootbox system, the similarities to Overwatch end there. Music throughout the game; Lot's of banter and beef; and powerful feeling guns. Even the Battle Medic often gets MVP
Now The Dealbreaker
This game was sniped out of the door by Blizzard. They launched the Summer Games on the day Lawbreakers came out this year. Due to an over-saturated market (no thanks to Battleborn and Overwatch claiming the supposed "only spot" in the class-based shooter while TF2 claimed that spot.) Player counts are low, really low. BUT THIS GAME IS SO FUN.
This game is trying to hang in for the long run. Right now Steam player caps at 161 most recently. PS4 version seems to be doing fine however, and it's only 30$.
There's just other games that are drawing attention away. Battlefront IV (2005 version for life, get that garbage clone wars droid voice outta here), Destiny 2, COD WW2, and more.
I cant wait to see this game pull a warframe or R6 Siege and get back on its feet.
My rating so far 843/1000
GONNA LIGHT YOU UP!
Next I talk about the Petty fight PUBG has with Fortnite. and then... Probably the Division
