The steam community market: is it broken, is this economy screwed?

The steam community market has a problem: worth is measured in supply and demand. and rices skyrocket or plummet because of competition.
Nobody actually gets what the item is worth unless they go to a trading site where nobody will buy it anyways (spoken from experiences). And i'm not even referring just to knives and unusuals. In trade servers, barely anyone trades anymore on TRADE servers due to the steam guard authenticator rise. and it's becoming harder and harder to get what an item is worth outside of the economy.

So, is the steam community TF and Csgo market and economy Screwed?
In my opinion (what you spent your time to look at) YES.

Why?
My first point: Mann Versus Machine is not in any way worth the money plus time you spend unless you get a good Aussie. Botkillers take time to get, more than a set of "Two Cities" loot. Operation Gear Grinder is expert difficulty, which means it takes LOTS of skill to finish. Yet, a Carbonado Botkiller weapon can go for as little as 30 cents. Ten percent of what it cost to get (3 tour of duty tickets).  Austrailiums require less skill, but more percerverence, about as much as it takes to unbox 300 crates hoping for an unusual/knife. Yet they are worth a lot more (except for the Smg and the Axestinguisher).

Second point: Skins, ranked cosmetics, and craft hats low pricing.
Skins are worth very little based on quality, wear, special terms (festivised, statclocks, killstreaks.) The Higher ranked skins look better, so to make them hard to get they are even rarer. Then they make unusual effects even rarer.  Craft hats, no matter how good looking, aren't worth much in trading and can't be sold on the market.

Skins worth is much similar in Csgo, except instead of unusual effects, there's knives.
Knives are really rare, but much like Aussies, it has to do with what knife, what wear and what skin. These factors can severely bring down the value of a knife.
Purple skins are barely worth more than blue skins outside of knives. On the market, stickers aren't worth anything on a weapon, same with $2 name tags. Which means your skin could be really unique with it's stickers, but only worth $0.22.
